After an internal debate, and a quick discussion with Joe, we have agreed on the first design. Whilst the second has something very nice about it, we think that the first is powerful, well balanced and the splash of colour is an important part that draws the eye to the title section.
Hi Mark, I'm quite bored so thought I'd comment :-) Can't be bothered to create proper account though! I'd go with the first one. It's clearer, easier to read and has some colour. The second one's nice, and creative, but black typing on grey doesn't have as much impact (in my humble opinion). Good luck with it! Lauren Young xxx

First one, theres more of a balance of colour that draws your eye better than the second one as there isnt a focus point to lock the eye on.
