an interesting point

I thought this quote makes an interesting point about the future and what direction we might be heading:

In relation to ID cards:

“a society in which you’re told who you are, how to move, how to work, where you can live, what you can do, is not a society i want to live in. It’s a controlled, controlling nightmare, its not life. I’m not saying that the ID card scheme wil be that straight away. But they’re outing in place something that moves towards then nightmare”
